How to Create Your Own APS Member Gallery Page

Right now, since all pages are being created from scratch, the fee is $30.00. In the future, any information or images you want to change or ‘update’ will cost $15.00, and all you need to do is choose the appropriate payment option below so the $15.00 update fee will drop down on the menu. Then you can pay on this same page.

Creating Your APS Member Gallery Page

There are two steps to this process:

#1 – Payment

Your Member Page will be created after we receive your payment. You can pay via PayPal (or credit card on the PayPal site) or by sending a check made to “APS”…for $30.00 to Gary Rupp, APS Treasurer, 221 Charleen Dr, Black Mountain, NC 28711.

#2 – Send email to the APS Webmaster, Kay Gordon, with your information and images as described below.

Please provide all your information (your bio, contact information and website link if you wish us to link to your website) as Word files attached to your email. Do not send pdf attachments or paper copies of your information that would require us to re-type all your information over again in order to create your page.

If you like, look at one of the member gallery pages already completed to see what information you need to provide.

Please put in the subject line of your email: APS Member Gallery: YOUR NAME

In your email, please include whatever information you wish to be on your page:

  • Your Name
  • Address (if you wish)
  • Phone (if you wish)
  • email address is probably a good idea for contact
  • website if you have one (we will link the APS member page to your larger site)
  • 3-6 images that will represent your art to APS website visitors.  Be sure to include the titles of the images…and sizes if you like.  The quality of the images should be similar to what you would submit to a show.
  • If you wish, you can select one image to be featured larger than the others.
  • Relatively brief bio or artist’s statement.
  • Include any special art associations and your status in them (if you wish)
  • Please feel free to suggest a design and even a font for your page.

And that’s it!

We will send you an email when your page is ‘up’ for you to verify everything is correct and make any changes until it suits you.
