Our next place for Plein Air will be in Mills River Park. It looks like it has something for everyone.
If you are coming from the interstate, you will drive in the direction of Grace Church which is where our meetings are. After Ingles Grocery Store, you will drive down to the second traffic light. This should be Haywood Road. Turn left onto Haywood and go approximately 1 to 1 1/2 miles. The park is on your left. You’ll see a sign that says Mills River Town Complex. It is Town Center Drive. There is a dog park, soccer field and other things including a boat launch area and the river. Oh, and the library plus restroom facilities.
We should plan to arrive around 9:00 and maybe park by the library to get acclimated to the area and decide where to paint. The gazebo has been rented out for the day.
