Your paint out co-chairs have decided to have a paint in in Feb. Since the weather is generally cold and/or rainy, Gary came up with the idea of a paint in. It will be the second Saturday in February which is the 8th. We will meet at Grace Church where we have our member meetings.
Anyone who does not do plein air, but is interested in seeing how we set up and what we bring, etc. is invited to come and see how we do this in the comfort of being inside. You may come anytime between 9:30 and 1:00 and leave when you like.
It was decided that we would bring our own drinks and/or snacks just as if we were outside. The tables will not be set up. We will bring our gear just as if we were outside except, we’ll need a photograph to paint from or you can paint from your imagination. We are also considering setting up a still life for those who like to paint from life. We also have the use of the restrooms.
The times we can have the classroom are from 9:30 to 1:00. Please bring a drop cloth.

DIRECTIONS FROM ASHEVILLE AIRPORT & AG CENTER
I-26, Exit for the airport
–Go West past the airport and past the Ag Center on NC 280
–Go approximately 1 ¾ miles west towards Mill River
–Turn Right on street between the Land Rover dealer and Grace Church which is Cardinal Drive (the church is up on the hill)
–Turn left at the top of the drive into the church parking lot
–Go to the back of the building to enter the Education Building.
