     Program…The Business of Art and Entering Shows (from 10 to noon)

APS will host “The Business of Art and Entering Art Shows,”  a panel presentation by APS President Gary Rupp, Black Mountain, NC, award-winning board member Zoe Schumaker of Asheville, NC.

This educational program, 10 am to noon, will coincide with the one-day new-member show.  Presenters include artists from the APS with experience in submitting paintings to art shows and having paintings accepted.

Topics include entering art shows, photographing artwork, framing, plus understanding the roles of the juror of entries and judge of awards.

The interactive discussion will entertain questions from the audience. The show and panel discussion are free and open to APS members and the public.
